In August 2011, I was involved in a serious car accident where I was hit head-on by another driver. The result of this accident left me with a fractured elbow and torn ligaments and tendons in my shoulder which required 2 extensive surgeries.
It was a complicated case, as the other driver did NOT accept responsibility at first, even though they were charged. Because the accident happened while I was at work, the case fell under Workman’s compensation.
